Cartoon Network is set to launch its fourth annual Move It Movement Live Tour and is taking Subway Restaurants along for the ride as a new core sponsor.

Created in partnership with the US President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition as an affiliate-sponsored live event for kids to promote physical activity, this summer’s 16-market tour will feature returning partners Boys & Girls Clubs of America, NBA and WNBA FIT, NFL Play 60 and the PGA of America.

The campaign targets kids ages six to 14, and it will officially kick off on June 8 in Atlanta and run through August 11.  The tour will feature multiple activvity and learning stations as well as appearances from local sports team mascots and cheerleaders. The tour also will include a Cartoon Network Chill Zone, a themed water station that will promote new programming, online activities and premium items from Cartoon Network. Official sponsor Subway Fresh Fit for Kids will host the tour’s Soccer Shootout Challenge and Skate Park/BMX experience.

A national on-air spot will premiere on June 3 across Cartoon Network, Boomerang, CartoonNetwork.com, the partner’s websites and on Cartoon Network’s Facebook page—which is currently home to more than 18.7 million fans.
