Here’s a quick check-in on how US nets Cartoon Network, Disney Channel and Disney XD performed in August.

Cartoon Network saw double-digit primetime and total day delivery increases overall with all kids demos (two to 11, six to 11 and nine to 14), compared to July. In primetime, the average kids two to 11 delivery (621,000) increased by 14%, six to 11 delivery (454,000) was up by 13% and nine to 14 delivery (346,000) up 13%. For total day, two-to-11 saw a 17% bump, six to 11 delivery (414,000) improved by 12% and nine-to-14 up by 10%.

Meanwhile, CN’s live-action Wednesday night block also saw some gains across kids and boys, scoring lifts across all kids and boys demos versus the previous four weeks. Average delivery for two to 11 (491,000) rose by 9%, six to 11 delivery (389,000) was up 5% and nine to 14 (331,000) increased by 5%.

New series Bobb’e Says (8 p.m.) and Dude, What Would Happen (8:30 p.m.), which premiered on August 19, also saw some double-digit bumps with kids and boys two to 11, six to 11 and nine to 14. Compared to July, average delivery of kids two to 11 (685,000) increased by 26%; boys two to 11 (517,000) up 31%, six to 11 (529,000) up 25%; boys six to 11 (421,000) by 35%, kids nine to 14 (452,000) by 42% and delivery of boys nine to 14 (372,000) seeing a rise of 54%.

Over at the House of Mouse, Disney Channel held TV’s top-three telecasts with Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie, Princess Protection Program and Wizards On Deck with Hannah Montana, as well as the top six TV series, coming in as summer’s top network in total day in tweens nine to 14, number one in kids six to 11, and cable’s number one net in prime with kids six to 11 and tweens.

As for its fledgling boy-targeted net Disney XD, it also saw its largest summer audience in its history – including Toon Disney – with total day in total viewers with all key kid targets, seeing double-digit increases in all key breaks.

In its primary Monday 8:30 p.m. time period, new series Zeke and Luther more than doubled in boys six to 14 and nine to 14. Additionally, total viewer numbers were up 49% and by 82% in boys six to 11. Phineas and Ferb came in fourth in its time period (Monday to Friday, 4:30 p.m.) with target boy demos, seeing increases of 43% in boys six to 14, 45% in boys six to 11 and 54% in boys nine to 14.

Following Zeke and Luther at 9 p.m. Aaron Stone topped its performance from year-ago time period deliveries across key demos, up 76% in boys six to 14, 49% in boys six to 11 and 123% in boys nine to 14.
