Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products is getting fashionable with True Jackson, as it brings an exclusive girls line to Walmart’s US locales.

A range of apparel and accessories dubbed Mad Style by True Jackson, inspired by Nick’s live-action series True Jackson, VP, is hitting the racks at the mass-market giant in time for back-to-school season.

From sneakers to dresses, all items designed by Jane Siskin, president and CEO of L’Koral, retail for US$14 or less. A microsite (http://www.nick.com/madstylefashions) has also been set up and kids can log on to view the line, get weekly style tips, play dress-up games and more.

On the international front, NVCP has brought on two new Israeli licensees for Dora the Explorer.

Jerusalem-based B&S is on-board with a two-year deal for electronic toothbrushes for girls two to six, available at toy retailers, including Toys ‘R’ Us, and drug and supermarket chains. Also, Creative Toys will be rolling out a 48-piece floor puzzle, part of a Dora World Adventure series that includes DVDs, books and plush dolls and will be available from all good toy shops.

Down in South Africa, NVCP has joined forces with Character Linens for Dora branded bedding, such as duvet covers, bedroom curtains, cushions and blankets. The high-quality linen will be available throughout the country at all major retail and mass market outlets.
