Tricon expands kids and family slate for MIPCOM Jr.

Toronto, Canada’s Tricon Films & Television is heading to MIPCOM Jr. with an expanded slate of kids and family programming.

The prodco and distributor has snapped up tween/teen sketch prank show The Paul Telner Project (10 x half hours) from Let it Out Entertainment. It’s also picked up the rights to family musical movie Christmas Dreams (1 x 60 minutes) from Homer and Weiser Productions for CBC Canada.

Tricon will also be selling two seasons and format rights to its kids reality series The Next Star, currently in its second season on Canuck kidcaster YTV.
