Teaming up with computer giant Dell, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products has launched the kid-friendly Dell Inspiron Mini Nickelodeon Edition.
The branded netbook weighs less than three pounds and is decked out with Nick-inspired slime art, with additional designs based on NVCP properties iCarly and SpongeBob SquarePants available at Dell.com‘s Design Studio.
It features a 10.1-inch color LCD screen with a Nick-themed interface and built-in wireless internet access, inspired by Dell’s Inspiron Mini 10v netbook. As the computer company’s first kids-focused product, it’ll be available online in the US at Dell.com, as well as in-store at Walmart and on Walmart.com in October.
Nick isn’t the first major kids licensor to enter the space. Disney Consumer Products launched the Disney Netpal MK90 last month, which KidScreen covered in the July/August issue.
