UK-based Entertainment One (eOne) has inked a deal to bring series five and six of its animated preschool hit Peppa to Italian broadcaster RAI Yoyo .
The new episodes will also be aired in English, using the original voice talent, with only the opening titles in Italian, in an effort to assist in the development of English language skills in Italian children.
Universal introduced Peppa DVDs to Italian retail in November 2010. In 2013, the series established its position as the number two animated franchise in the European country’s DVD market with more than 50,000 units sold, including the kiosk sales.
