With the Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival Promotion Plan behind them, Malaysian prodco Centraline Animation and Korea’s ToonZip have joined forces on a new series.
The 52-ep Robot ARPO is a 3-D animated adventure comedy series about a combat robot-cum-domestic helper that lands at the home of a wacky human family and it’s aiming to reflect how robots have become more prevalent in our daily lives.
Centraline is also in the early stage of an animated movie production, and is looking to launch a new sport-themed animation series supported by a licensing program in Q1 2010.
