Cake Entertainment has snapped up distribution rights to a second production from Paris-based TeamTO, CGI animated comedy series Angelo Rules (78 x seven minutes).
The co-production for the six to 11 set will be making its debut at this year’s MIPCOM. The series revolves around the 12-year-old title character that looks to take control of his life with elaborate and comic strategies based on his observations of people’s behavior. It’s been developed from the French book series Comment Faire Enrager, written by Sylvie de Mathuisieulx and illustrated by Sébastien Diologent.
It’s the second collaboration between for the two companies, which previously worked on the CGI comedy action series Hareport (52 x 11 minutes).
