On the move

BBC Worldwide (New York, New York, 212-705-9300): After months of searching, BBCW has brought on Tom Keefer as SVP of global licensing. Reporting to Neil Ross Russell, MD of BBCW Children's and Licensing, and BBCW America president Garth Ancier, Keefer has moved from California to the company's New York office. He's now responsible for growing licensing opps across BBCW's portfolio of children's and adult brands. He'll lead the existing UK and international licensing teams, and one of his chief remits is to build the Beeb's kids brands State-side. With more than 30 years of global licensing and brand-building experience, Keefer started his career at Newsweek International and has since worked at L.A. Gear, K-Swiss and Mattel, where he was SVP and head of international marketing & boys licensing.
