Disney Channel has started production on another new live-action series for its tween viewers, Good Luck Charlie.
Slated to premiere on DC worldwide in 2010, the story of Good Luck Charlie revolves around two teens and their 10-year-old brother who deal with the changes that come from the entry of new baby sister Charlotte, a.k.a. Charlie, into their family’s life. Each ep will see teen girl Teddy creating a personalized video diary for her baby sister, chronicling her adventures and mishaps so Charlie can use it as advice when Teddy grows up and leaves home.
The series from It’s a Laugh Productions, was created and executive-produced by Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen, (Suddenly Susan and What I Like About You). Veteran TV writer/producer Dan Staley (Cheers, Love & Money) is also on-board as executive producer.
