It’s fitting that America’s queen of organization, Martha Stewart, is already thinking about Halloween, as The Hub is tapping the entertaining maven to serve as an expert judge for its first nation-wide costume competition.

Submissions are now open and 50 semi-finalists representing each US state will win a trip to L.A. to be a part of the two-hour Hub Network’s First Annual Halloween Bash event, which will air October 26. Participants are encouraged to create costumes and visit  hubworld.com/halloween to view a two-minute tutorial detailing complete details and entry information. The deadline to enter is  September 29. One winner will take home US$25,000 and will have a chance at a walk-on role on R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series.

Joining Stewart will be a celebrity host, additional judges and musical acts, all of which will be announced soon.
