It looks like Todd Parr’s latest book is about to come alive in the online world, thanks to SupperTime Entertainment’s new partnership with digital creative agency California-based Animax Entertainment.

The co-venture between the two companies will result in the development of an interactive online Planet Color-branded playground. The site will include games and activities geared at kids and include an eco-friendly approach.

Planet Color has already attracted partners in the L&M world, having inked licensees such as Chronicle Books (coloring and activity books, paper-based merch), Jen’s Ideas (apparel), Four Peas (backpacks, school bags, lunch bags, supply bags and duffel bags) and Sara’s Prints (sleepwear), with SupperTime managing all merch and promo opps worldwide.

The new digital world, slated to go live in Q4 2009 or early 2010, will be promoted through Parr’s corporate alliances, including retail displays of his new and reprinted books from publisher Little, Brown and Company.
