Looking to bring Random House Children’s Books publishing properties to life, Komixx Entertainment has teamed up with the publishing house to form a joint-venture prodco called Random House Children’s Screen Entertainment.

The new partnership will see the production house producing animated and live-action children’s and family entertainment for the big and small screen, exclusively from RHCB UK’s library of published books and titles. It’ll also look to build relationships with feature film, internet and digital channels, video game producers, toy manufacturers and other merchandisers.

RHSCE will be jointly owned by Random House UK and Komixx, staffed from the two companies. Catherine Robins, MD of 2 Sides TV and minority shareholder who helped in creating the new venture will join the prodco’s management ranks, with RHCB publisher Fiona Macmillan leading the daily operations from the publisher’s side.
