Sanrio brings Hello Kitty to the iPhone

Hello Kitty's 35th anniversary continues with more tech product rollout. Sanrio Global Consumer Products has teamed up with Sanrio Digital and Aitia to develop a range of iPhone and iPod Touch apps, launching in more than 77 countries.

Hello Kitty’s 35th anniversary continues with more tech product rollout. Sanrio Global Consumer Products has teamed up with Sanrio Digital and Aitia to develop a range of iPhone and iPod Touch apps, launching in more than 77 countries.

iHelloKitty Tokyo, inspired by Tokyo culture, lets users dress the iconic feline in street fashion items, while Hello Kitty Camera uses facial recognition to create customized photos featuring HK designs. And to help fans countdown to the actual anniversary date, the Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary app offers a special screening of the Hello Kitty Colors anniversary theme video, countdown clock and design museum, along with instant news and updates.

Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary is a free download, while the others are available now for purchase at Apple’s iTunes App Store.
