BBC Worldwide is giving Charlie & Lola the live-stage treatment in Brazil, as it brings its first-ever live entertainment production to Brazil.
Charlie & Lola: A Play (Charlie e Lola: A Peça) will come to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro this summer and into next year.
The English version of the puppet play made its debut in London last summer and will return early next year. The show in Brazil will get a Portuguese translation dub and is slated for shows from July 4 to December 13 at Teatro das Artes, Shopping Eldorado in São Paulo, then will move to Rio de Janeiro from January 2010.
The preschool series airs on Discovery Kids Latin America in Brazil and throughout the region, as well as on CBeebies in Mexico and in other LatAm countries that have CBeebies is available.
