Bandai America (Cypress, California, 714-816-9500): Ex-Playmates exec Tor Sirset has joined Bandai as VP of marketing for its girls and preschool business unit. Sirset is now charged with overseeing new licensed and non-licensed brands for girls and preschoolers and leveraging the company's design and development resources in Japan, Europe and the US to create, launch and market new product lines. Sirset is well-equipped to handle his new remit, coming to Bandai from Playmates Toys where he served as VP of marketing and design for the girls and youth electronics division.
