Eduardo the Samurai Toaster, ’nuff said
This funky art-style, side-scrolling action game from upstart Colorado-based game developer Semnat Studios revolves around Eduardo, his fellow toasters and food-flinging frenzy. The unique E-rated downloadable title has pastry being hurled at evil foodstuffs, laser-mounted scooters, rocket packs and multi-player options for co-op play. Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is slated to pop up on Nintendo WiiWare this summer.

Barry the Fish with Fingers hooks S&S
Simon & Schuster UK has picked up the humorous and off-the-wall picture book Barry the Fish with Fingers from author and illustrator Sue Hendra. S&S is banking on the book and its title character, the big-eyed, brightly colored Barry, to reel in kid readers and is mounting a big PR campaign around the book’s release. Retail space has already been confirmed at UK retail chains Waterstone’s, Borders and Asda.

SpongeWatch TimePants
The yellow one’s 10th anniversary merch just keeps on coming. This time Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products brought New York-based fashion design brand Nooka in to craft way-cool limited-edition, SpongeBob-inspired wristwatches. Featuring geometric themes and bold color palettes, the collection for men (US$170) and women (US$275) makes its retail debut in July.
