As Italy’s Rainbow gears up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of flagship property Winx Club next year, it’s been busy lining up licensing agents globally and has just signed Planeta Junior to rep its brands in France.
The deal expands the current relationship between the two companies, in which Planeta Junior is Rainbow’s agent in Spain. In France, Planeta will be repping girl-targeted Winx, which has more than 500 licensees worldwide, Mia and me, a co-production with Lucky Punch/M4e in Germany,Winx spin-off PopPixie, and Rainbow’s boy-skewing action-adventure series Huntik.
Rainbow now has licensing representation in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines,Thailand,Taiwan, Australia and Latin America, Turkey, Germany, Benelux, Israel, Middle East and South Africa.
