4Kids Entertainment is adding charity doll property Karito Kids to its portfolio, as it becomes the worldwide licensing rep for the IP.

4Kids will be looking to expand the brand and its global message of charity and caring, focus on Kartio’s entertainment, educational and charitable aspects to drive a licensing program.

The large-doll line features six characters, modeled after girls from around the world and each comes with a mystery adventure story set in her home country. Girls who buy a doll get to choose a global cause at Karito Kids’ website and the company donates a portion of the purchase price to the selected charity.
