Warner Bros. Consumer Products has signed a multi-property deal with its existing home goods licensee The Northwest Company.
The US throw and pillow manufacturer now has access to WBCP’s portfolio including Harry Potter, Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry and other Hanna Barbera properties, in addition to DC Comics’ portfolio, from Batman, Superman, Supergirl, DC Originals and The Justice League.
Product categories include decorative throws with coordinating pillows, cuddle wraps, character hugger pillows, decorative rugs, inflatable chairs, travel sets and more.
With the anticipated release of the sixth Harry Potter movie in July, Northwest will be rolling out licensed bedding, sheets, pillow cases and shams, bedding sets, comforters, and beach towels.
And with Where the Wild Things Are hitting theaters this fall, themed slumber bags, pillow buddies and other home textiles will make an October retail launch.
