Five new members have been brought on to the Toy Industry Association’s Board of Directors at the organization’s annual general meeting held this week at ToyCon taking place in Phoenix, Arizona.
With Hasbro chairman Al Verrecchia continuing in his role as Chairman of the Board through May 2010, the newly elected individuals include Joel Berger (president of Cardinal Industries), Leigh Anne Brodsky (president of Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products), John Gessert (president and CEO, American Plastic Toys), Peter Henseler (president of Learning Curve Brands) and Jeffrey Katz, (president, CEO and chairman of LeapFrog Enterprises).
The five will begin their terms this month through to May 2011.
