Looking to send the under-six crowd into fits of laughter, CBeebies is currently in production on live-action sketch comedy Gigglebiz, set to air on the UK kidcaster this summer.
The network’s first live-action sketch show features Justin Fletcher, known as Mr. Tumble and the presenter of CBeebies Something Special. He’s come up with 20 new characters for the 25-ep series.
Produced by Michael Towner, the series targets the four-to-six crowd and Towner has commissioned writers from BBC Entertainment’s comedy School to work with CBeebies’ traditional writing squad.
