After an exclusive rollout to Toys ‘R’ Us shops across the UK this past November, distributor Esdevium Games has now brought 4Kids’ Chaotic trading card game to other game retailers across the territory, including Game, Borders, WHSmiths, Smyths, The Entertainer, Hamleys, Play.com, Amazon and Gamestation.
The mass-market rollout is being supported on TV, along with online and print activity in top boys’ magazines and banner adverts, as well as a competition on the Jetix website.
Esdevium also launched a UK Store Challenge last month as part of its organized play activity at core game and hobby stores, with the tournament culminating in the National Launch Championship at UK Games Expo in Birmingham on June 7.
