Bandai US has brought on ex-Playmates exec Tor Sirset as its new VP of marketing for its girls and preschool business unit.
Sirset will report directly to EVP of toys Mark Schaffner and will focus on new licensed and non-licensed brands for girls and preschoolers, leveraging the company’s design and development resources in Japan, Europe and State-side to create, launch and market new product lines.
Sirset is well-equipped to handle his new remit, coming to Bandai from Playmates Toys as VP of marketing and design for the girls and youth electronics division.
