Looking to get preschoolers moving, Nickelodeon has begun production on The JumpArounds, a new live-action musical comedy series targeting the younger set.
Set for a summer premier, the 20 x half-hour series featuring original pop tunes, aims to teach preschoolers about music appreciation and how to express themselves through movement and music.
New music videos will debut on Nick and Noggin next month, coinciding with the launch of www.thejumparounds.com. The song lyrics are written by series creators and executive producers Nadine van der Velde and Scott Kraft, who’ve nabbed three Emmys for their work on children’s TV programs
