Alan Fine is joining David Maisel and John Turitzin to the post of EVP, in the office of the chief executive, which oversees all of Marvel Entertainment‘s divisions and operations.
Having upped his involvement across the company’s publishing, licensing, studio and digital divisions, Fine has helped build programs and increased his role in the planning and development of Marvel’s animation and movie projects. He also leads Marvel’s Creative Committee, which provides counsel on the development of its slate of feature films, television, online and other entertainment initiatives.
Previously serving as EVP and CMO of Marvel Characters, Fine directed and coordinated efforts to support and strengthen its brands. He was also CEO of the toy and publishing divisions and he’ll continue to serve as an officer of the company’s Marvel Characters B.V. subsidiary.
