UK-based kidcaster CBBC has picked up a 13 x half-hour third season of popular kids factual series Officially Amazing from producer Lion Television.
The program’s international distributor, Zodiak Kids, has also secured a new deal with Discovery Networks Asia that will see Officially Amazing season two continue to be broadcast in more than 25 countries including India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Singapore.
Zodiak’s latest deal comes on the heels of its Officially Amazing second series sale to ABC Australia.
The new third season will bring back presenters Ben Shires (UK), Haruka Karoda (Japan) and Al Jackson (US) for more exploration into the world of records and record-breaking humans and animals. Guinness World Records adjudicators will again be on hand to determine a record attempt in each episode.
Total available episodes of Officially Amazing are now 39 half hours and season two is currently airing on CBBC.
The live-action program comes from the creative team behind the hit series Horrible Histories.
