On the heels of its Chinese broadcast debut on national pubcaster CCTV this past January, Thomas & Friends is set to expand its reach online in the country.
HIT Entertainment has just launched Thomasandfriends.cn, a Chinese version of the global Thomas website that currently attracts more than 30 million visitors per month. At the same time, Thomas’ licensing rep for the territory, PPW, has just launched the property’s first consumer products range in the country, including products from Tomy, RC2 and Egmont.
