Target teams up with Sony Europe to license PlayStation vidgame IPs

It looks like the popularity of original video game IP might by migrating to the consumer products realm. At least that's what Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is banking on in appointing UK-based Target Entertainment Group to handle L&M for PlayStation software IPs.

It looks like the popularity of original video game IP might by migrating to the consumer products realm. At least that’s what Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is banking on in appointing UK-based Target Entertainment Group to handle L&M for PlayStation software IPs.

From the hugely popular PS3 title LittleBigPlanet to its Ratchet and Clank franchise, Sony has a variety of properties for Target to work with. Following SCE’s American division appointing Dimensional Branding Group, Target is now on-board to develop ranges of PlayStation licensed apparel and accessories, toys and plush, stationery, gifts, housewares, food and themed promotions.
