Brit indie licensing agency Bulldog Licensing is continuing to build the presence of Super Why! and Gogo’s Crazy Bones in the territory’s licensing landscape, landing new deals for the properties.
With ratings for preschool series Super Why! climbing on Nick Jr. UK, drawing more than 180,000 viewers and peaking at more than 230,000, Bulldog has added a few more partners to join master toy licensee RC2. Cesar is now on board for hanging and boxed-dress up, while Melbry Events has signed on for mall tours. Already, Melbry is planning an Easter appearance at Sheffield’s Meadowhall complex, with costume characters and broadcast material airing on the food hall’s big screen, accessible by more than a million weekly visitors.
Meanwhile, the program for Gogo’s Crazy Bones collectibles just keeps on growing, as Bacup has been tapped for footwear and Sambro is creating a line of licensed stationery. Since the product launched almost a year ago, Gogo’s has sold more than 20 million toy packs in the UK alone.
