A new home distribution deal between Nelvana and Dallas-based Well Go USA will bring My Friend Rabbit to DVD and Blu-ray across the US in early summer.
The 26 x half-hour 2-D animated preschool series, based on the book by Eric Rohmann, airs on NBC’s qubo block and Telemundo and Ion’s digital channel of the same name, with 15 million viewers already having tuned in. My Friend Rabbit also came away with the 2008 Pulcinella Award for Best Preschool TV Series at Cartoons on the Bay last year.
