Chuggington will be making its way to Japanese airwaves, as UK prodco Ludorum has sold the show for older preschoolers to Fuji Television Network.
The broadcaster is set to air the 52 x 10-minute series this coming summer and the agreement will see Fuji Television taking on all rights to the property for Japan, including consumer products, home entertainment and publishing, with a merch program rolling out in spring 2010. Fuji Television has access to about 50 million TV households in the country.
