London-based Walker Productions, a subsidiary of publisher Walker Books, has inked a TV development deal with Ireland’s Jam Media for Polly Dunbar’s Tilly and Friends from Walker Books.
The preschool-targeted project is Jam’s first non in-house development deal and was also selected by KidScreen as a Cool New Show last October.
Dunbar, who has won several accolades including being named one of Booktrust’s top-10 new illustrators in the UK, also illustrated the six-book Tilly series. The final two books about wee Tilly and her group of animal pals, Doodle Bites and Goodnight Tiptoe, will be published this coming fall.
