Spain-based TV distributor and licensing agency Planeta Junior is looking to become a one-stop shop for kids producers and licensors wanting to enter southern Europe, where it’s opened two new commercial offices in France and Greece.
The move helps the agency bolster its presence in southern Europe. It’s currently looking to increase activity on international co-pro and distribution agreements for the region as well as grow its licensing portfolio. Planeta Junior’s program catalogue houses 30,000 half-hours of content and the company handles TV sales and licensing for the likes of Sesame Workshop and Marvel in Spain, along with managing Hello Kitty in the Greek market.
