With an increase in 3-D TV animation being used in a growing number of motion pictures and TV series, San Francisco, California-based prodco Wildbrain is expanding its operations and adding a satellite studio in L.A.
The new animation studio space, located in Sherman Oaks, California, will be helmed by Chris Staples and Michelle Papandrew, while Wildbrain’s San Francisco office will continue serving as the principal hub for commercial work, television, motion pictures and game animation, as well as original content development.
