ZDF Enterprises’ has inked a global deal for its new tween live-action series The Elephant Princess from Jonathan M. Shiff Productions.
The 26 x 30-minute series revolves around a teen girl who discovers she has magical powers and is the heir to the throne of the Manjipoor kingdom. It will debut on Nickelodeon UK this coming spring and will later air on Nick channels throughout Europe, Africa and Latin America.
The deal will also see the kidcaster taking on the series’ media rollout rights and rights to its online content for Nick’s channel websites, which are set to launch content simultaneously with the on-air premiere.
