UK-based indie licensing agency Rocket Licensing has brought Rupert Dilnott-Cooper and Helen McAleer into its fold as non-exec directors to help bolster the company’s licensing profile.

Dilnott-Cooper’s resume boasts a range of media experience, serving as a board director of Zodiak Television AB, a trustee of television for the Environment Limited, a director of Myvideorights.com and advisor to Credit Suisse DLJ Media Partners. He also held senior positions with ITC Entertainment, ATV/Central Television and Central Television Enterprises, and was CEO of Carlton Content, a director of Carlton Communications Group Executive Board, and a founding director and chairman of British Television Distributors Association (now merged into PACT) and director of Meridian Broadcasting.

Meanwhile, McAleer comes to Rocket as the current MD of Walker Books and a director of Walker Productions, which is currently migrating IP from the book division to TV and online opps. Prior to Walker, she worked at BBC Worldwide for 12 years across many different businesses, including book publishing, DVD and merchandising.
