UK-based prodco Parthenon Entertainment has inked an exclusive worldwide TV and distribution deal with Norwegian kids prodco CreaCon for CGI series City of Friends.
The 26 x 10-minute animated series targets preschoolers and revolves around animals and people living together as citizens, focusing on emergency services – police, fire, ambulance – that make sure the city’s residents remain safe. It’ll be among the first children’s series to be produced in Norway.
The property will also make its debut at MIPTV. In the meantime, Parthenon has secured TV and DVD distribution rights worldwide, except Nordic countries, where it’s already been sold to TV2 (Norway), TV2 (Denmark), MTV3 (Finland) and TV4 (Sweden).
