UK-based international branding agency Radiant Studios has given new Arabic preschool net Baraem a character-based visual identity.

Baraem, the world’s first Arabic preschool TV channel meaning ‘buds,’ is based in Qatar and aims to provide edutainment for Arabic-speaking kids between the ages of three to six around the world. Al Jazeera Children’s Channel commissioned Radiant to create channel branding and the resulting ID package includes a logo, character design, broadcast idents, print and screen promos, as well as overseeing the station’s bespoke fonts and website.

Baraem is free-to-view on Arabsat, NileSat, and Hotbird, and began broadcasting in late January.
