Just in time for Earth Day on April 20, animated series Cyberchase is launching its seventh season on PBS Kids Go! with a five-episode Weather Watchers initiative designed to introduce issues surrounding the climate to its young viewers and will be part of PBS Kids Share the Earth Day on April 22.

The new eps will feature meteorologist Janice Huff from WNBC New York and The Today Show as the character Stormy Gale. She’ll also appear as herself in live-action segments at the end of each ep, called Cyberchase For Real, where Huff will explain how math and weather go together, helping kids understand weather’s overall impact on the environment.

A new interactive online game will also be available at www.pbskidsgo.org/cyberchase, which will feature hands-on activities, mini-games, and tips for parents and teachers and will also offer episodes for free download, also available to stream at www.pbskids.org/go/video.
