Barcelona, Spain-based animation company BKN New Media has brought on Jesus Diaz to helm its L&M business.
Diaz comes to his new role as VP of licensing and merchandising from BRB Internacional, where he worked for the last eight years, most recently managing L&M and online games division for the prodco. At BKN, he’ll oversee licensing activities in Iberia, as well as managing agents in Italy, France, Greece, Latin America and Brazil. Among his first priorities will be taking control of merch efforts for BKN’s Zorro: Generation Z and Dork Hunters from Outer Space, which are set for launch this spring in the aforementioned territories.
