Prodco Blueprint Entertainment, which was recently acquired by Entertainment One, has begun production on the Teletoon original live-action/animated tween comedy series Majority Rules.
The worldwide rights to the 26 x half-hour series, previously titled Go Girl, are handled by Oasis International, E1’s global film and TV distributor. The series revolves around the life of 15-year-old Becky Richards, who’s been elected mayor of her hometown.
Spin Entertainment is providing the animated and graphic components. Also in the works is an online and web component through which teens and tweens will be able to voice their opinions.
