Further proof that the video game industry is bucking the economic downturn, Majesco Entertainment has just reported healthy Q4 and year-end fiscal results.
For the quarter ending October 31, 2008, the Edison, New Jersey-based company exceeded its revenue projections and achieved a 51.2% net revenue increase over the same period last year. Domestic revenue was up by 55%, while international revenue grew by 40%.
As for its fiscal year compared to 2007, Majesco experienced a 25.3% spike in net revenues to US$63.9 million, thanks to its Nintendo Wii and DS business improving by 64%.
