Kid’s Town comes to Hulu, iTunes

Along with expanding its global reach, Kid's Town is on the hunt for new partnerships with Canadian and international broadcasters to expand the show from web to TV.

Oakville, Canada-based Kid’s Town Productions has secured a distribution deal with Hulu in the US for its family web series Kid’s Town. The show is also slated to launch internationally on iTunes on September 15.

Kid’s Town (12 x 14-minutes) is a web series that follow the life of 12-year-old Brian Russell and his police officer dad as they navigate the waters of small town life.

Since launching on Vimeo Video on Demand last August, the series has been honored as an Official Selection at the 2014 LA Webfest and the  2013 Digi Awards, as well as winner of Viewers’ Choice at the 2014 Vancouver WebFest.

The family-friendly series is currently available on Hulu, Amazon Prime, Vimeo Video On Demand, DailyMotion OpenVOD and AmebaTV.

Following the Hulu launch, Kid’s Town Productions is currently looking for partnerships with Canadian and international broadcasters to expand the show’s reach from web to TV and to allow for a second season.
