With NATPE just around the corner, Spanish prodco Imira Entertainment has locked in a number of animation and live-action deals with buyers in the US and Latin America.

Mexico’s Canal Once has picked up Lola & Virginia (52 x 12 minutes) for broadcast, with L&M rights going to Brazil’s SBT. Home entertainment rights in Brazil now belong to New Star, and the category will be managed in Chile by Quality Films.

Vitaminix (104 x two minutes), another Imira original, has sold to Spanish-language channels Somos TV and Mega TV, with Film Ideas snapping up non-theatrical rights for the US and Canada.

On the third-party IP front, Disney Latin America has bought 64 Zoo Lane (78 x 11 minutes), and both Discovery Kids Latin America (13 more eps) and Discovery Hispanic US (all 39 half-hours) say yes to Louie. Bali, meanwhile, has been sold to ¡Sorpresa!, another US Spanish-language channel.
