Taking the helm of licensing in Germany for Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products is Andreas Niedergesäss, who joins the company as VP.
Reporting to SVP and MD Jean-Philippe Randisi, based in London, and VP Oliver Schablitzki, based in Berlin, Niedergesäss will lead the consumer products team in Germany. He’s now responsible for management and development of all CP activities in the market across all brands, including Nickelodeon, MTV, Viva and Comedy Central. His new remit will also see him developing client relationships with existing and potential license holders along with further development of retail activities.
Niedergesäss comes to the NVCP team from Super RTL, where he held post as senior sales manager, licensing and merchandising, overseeing development of sales activities for global brands, including Disney, Hasbro and HIT Entertainment. He’s also worked as sales and marketing director at German media company Baby Care Hardware and as advertising and PR manager for Coplan.
