My Gym continues to expand its global reach, signing master franchisor agreements in three new territories. China, India and Brazil now have the rights to develop their own locations and or recruit independent franchisees.
China will see its first location in Beijing this December, thanks to its agreement with Hong Kong-based Gym Enterprises Asia Pacific. In India, Delaware-based Parallel Kids will debut locations in New Delhi and Mumbai in February/March 2009, and Sao Paolo in Brazil will see its first location open its doors in February 2009 by MGB Fitness for kids.
With almost 180 gym locations across the US as well as in 25 countries, My Gym Enterprises will continue to concentrate on international expansion, particularly within the EU and Latin America.
