Animation writer and director Tony Collingwood walked away from the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain Awards this past weekend with the Outstanding Contribution to Children’s Writing award.
Collingwood, with 20 years of experience in the kids television world, has worked on such properties Dennis the Menace, Eddy & the Bear and Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs, is also nominated for a children’s BAFTA award this year for his writing on The Secret Show on CBBC.
