UK-based children’s right owner and producer Spellbound Entertainment has inked new deals in Portugal for its preschool series The Koala Brothers.
Portugal’s Zero A Oito is now the marketing and licensing agent for the IP in Portugal and the company will also act as the licensee for magazines and activity books.
As well, toy and video game distributor Concentra, has been appointed as the master toy partner in the region. The firm will develop, manufacture and distribute a range of toys including plush toys, plastic figures and playsets, diecast toys, electronic learning aids, drawing products and arts and crafts products based on the series. The initial product line will debut in fall 2009.
Finally, Majora has been named licensee for puzzle and games.
