France-based Alphanim continues to rack up deals for 52 x 13-minute toon Gawayn, adding Disney Latin America to its list of international broadcasters.
The sale for the copro with Mondo TV that puts a modern twist on a story from the Middle Ages builds on existing deals with France 3, RAI (Italy), TVE (Spain), RTBF (Belgium), RTP (Portugal), SRC Radio-Canada (Canada), TSR (Switzerland) and Z@ppellin (Netherlands).
Alphanim is now looking to leverage the broadcast heat on the property into the consumer products realm. Currently a Pan-Euro MMOG and publishing program are in the works.
